Since I seem to be on the theme of food this month and I mentioned I’ve been working on an internationally inspired home cooked meals post, here’s what I’ve got cooking for a first week around the world in food. While all may not be worth making in a single week (lots of different ingredients), the following are a few recipes I’ve got on my list to make this summer:

Foreign Feasts to make at home.

Tikka Masala in the slow cooker :: I crave Indian food but don’t always want to go out to get it. This recipe looks simple enough (though time intensive).

Fish Tacos :: The pickled onions and salsa look delicious and fresh for a summer evening.

Thai Chicken Pizza :: A homemade alternative to Wednesday night’s Pizza Club.

Grilled Paella :: I love this traditional Spanish dish but it always seems so daunting to attempt. This recipe looks less scary.

Panzanella Bread Salad :: You may need some protein with this Italian salad but the ingredients seem perfect for summer! Perhaps add a grilled meatball or two as a side?

Mangia bene!
