If you haven’t figured it out by now, I’m not one for doing things the way everyone else does. I may follow the standard’s lead, but put my own spin on it.

So the most recent fixation has been our wedding guest book. As silly as it seems for a little detail of the day, couples have gotten more and more creative with the way they have their guests leave their mark to be remembered. Yet another detail I don’t want to simply do the same old way, I’ve been looking for inspiration.

I think I’ve got ours nailed, but you’ll have to wait until after the big day to see what we actually do for our guestbook.

Unsolicited advice: Throughout this whole wedding planning process, I’ve definitely pulled from the creativity and ideas I’ve been seeing on Pinterest and the wedding blogs out there, but that’s just my jumping off point. My advice to anyone planning any sort of party, wedding or otherwise, use the tools online to find inspiration, but don’t forget to make it your own. Afterall that’s what makes it special.

Happy Wednesday,
