Last month I began making travel plans to visit one of my brothers who lives in Alaska. The Mister and I will be heading to Anchorage and road tripping it with my brother around a bit, ending in Fairbanks, where he lives.

I can’t wait to explore Alaska, see the wild life, scenery and catch up. It will also be crazy since there will be almost 24 hours of daylight when we go at the end of May.

Now the real task is packing! Since the weather could be in the 70s or 40s, it will be all about layers, comfort and a little bit of cute. Not to mention a sleep mask for those weird, light nights!

So here’s what I’ll be packing (or something similar) for our early Summer trip:

What to pack for a Spring Alaska Trip

> Patagonia Better Sweater since it’s all about layers, $139.

Sunglasses for those, hopefully, sunny days, $14.99.

> Penfield long Rain Jacket, $150.

> Foxy Tee, $42.99.

> Prana Jeans (stretchy, skinny – but not too skinny, and cute). Great for exploring Denali National Park, $79.

> Comfy, Waterproof, Sturdy Shoes, $99.

Sleep Mask for all that daylight, $19.99.

> Cross body Camera Bag & Satchel, $329.

I’ll share the itinerary and all about the trip once we’re back. Can’t wait!
