Wild Blueberries made into Jam on Flee Fly Flown

It’s been a week of catch-up after my Michigan hiatus last week. A lovely time spent in my home town of Traverse City and at our cabin.

The bonus of the trip? An especially abundant wild blueberry crop this year; Our property was ripe for the picking. Between a few of us, we probably picked about 20 cups of blueberries. I brought 10 cups home: 4 went toward making Wild Blueberry Jam, 5 have been frozen for a pie a little later in the summer and the rest went into my husband’s Blueberry / Cherry Bourbon infusion. I just might turn into Violet by the time this baby is born!

But enough about my blueberry blitz. I hope you had a great week and enjoyed some of the sunshine. If it doesn’t last through the weekend in your part of the world, here are a few links to occupy some of your time:

> Did you check out my playlist last week? What’d you think?

> My friend pinned this fox embroidery kit this week. I love it and want it.

> In the mood for some new shoes.

> Can’t wait to have a waist again so I can wear this dress.

> Might give these chocolate zucchini brownies a try this weekend.

> My husband (and friend) made this table (with a few adjustments)for our dining room and it turned out awesome. He white washed it and I love it.

Now get outside and enjoy the summer!
